この曲は１９８５年のクラレンスのソロアルバムからのシングルでジャクソン・ブラウンとのデュエット。当時ジャクソン･ブラウンと付き合ってた女優のダリル・ハンナも出ています。
ブルース・スプリングスティーンのバンド「THE E STREET BAND」のメンバーとして活躍した黒人サックス奏者「CLARENCE CLEMONS」がSSWの「JACKSON BROWNE」と共演した85年作。アルバム”HERO”からのカット。二人の熱いデュエットにブロウ・アップするサックスが印象的な80年代らしいポップ・ナンバー”YOU’RE A FRIEND OF MINE”、奮い立たせてくれるサックスの音色が印象的な”LET THE MUSIC SAY IT”をカップリング。
